Northumberland Market Towns Programme
In 2013 we assembled a mixed team of architects, urban designers and property experts to to produce design & access studies of the town centre retail core areas of Hexham, Morpeth, Cramlington, Alnwick, Blyth, Ashington & Berwick.
Following submission of the studies an architect from the team was embedded with the council developing a two year programme of public realm improvements. The programme will deliver improvements to sustainable access to the town centres, boosting footfall without increasing traffic congestion.
